Today I invented a time machine.

So yes, you can fake the date in WordPress to make it seem like you are writing from the past. The potential is exciting: I could go through old diaries and notebooks and make it seem like I’ve been blogging since before the www was invented. What is now a narrative starting late in 2006 could become a timestamped autobiography as I add entries like “Today I was born” and “My first day of school”. I’m memory-challenged - I can’t even remember simple autobiographical details, so this may be how I start reassembling my past to establish a chronology of events. Or not.
