a little facelift for ianring.com

Hi everyone! As you probably noticed I made some changes to the design last night. No more right-hand column, no more blogroll, no more random haiku. I've tucked all the extra page fluff and navigation into a bar at the top. Click on "archive" and you'll see. (warning: unlike the previous design, javascript is required to fully experience the site) And I've simplified my harsh black-and-white design even more. It's actually becoming an anti-design. I still care how it looks, but my goal is to refine and distill the look until it approaches the incredibly stark crisp beauty of a single black square on a white field. Also - notice that the home page, http://www.ianring.com/ redirects to this blog now, and my page of merch is available here (look in "pages"). When time allows (which it rarely does) i'm going to turn the Archives list into a calendar or timeline view. Enjoy!
