Firefox used to *not* suck.

The most recent version of Firefox crashes every freaking few minutes. I can’t even browse to my own site with it. When I request ianring.com, Firefox crashes.

It used to not suck. What happened?

I’ve heard Flock is no better. And IE is … IE. Where have all the good browsers gone? Netscape, Netscape, wherefore art thou?

I had to give up Thunderbird - crashing constantly and no plugins to blame - and haven’t found a decent replacement.

Now FF is crashing more and more frequently. Probably some plugin they say. I wonder about having two profiles, one to launch with developer plugins, one to launch with general plugins, one to launch with none at all. Though that seems like an awful hassle just to see a web page.

Next best would be to have each FF process separate, so I could kill/crash one, without losing all windows

Followup RE “two profiles” Like the man said: There are three kinds of people, those who can count and those who can’t.
