The World’s TOP BLOGS according to ianring.com readers

ianring.com is compiling a list of the WORLD's GREATEST BLOGS. Every few months, I will publish a list of the TOP BLOGS According to ianring.com. This is not a list according to biased industry experts or meaningless traffic statistics! No, this is TOP BLOGS according to the readers of ianring.com. Instead of building a fancy schamncy voting system, I am conducting this contest using the MAGIC OF PINGBACKS. Thus this contest is not restricted to the pages of ianring.com - the contest takes place ALL OVER THE INTERNET - on the blogs themselves! BLOGGERS, ENTER THE CONTEST!
If you are a blogger, all you need to do to enter the contest is write a blog post containing a link to this OR ANY OTHER post on ianring.com. Then someone needs to follow that link, at which time I will receive a notification of your inbound link, signifying entrance into this competition of the WORLD's BEST BLOGS. This automatic notification of a link is called a PINGBACK. Don't remove the link - in order to stay in the competition, the link to this site must remain on the other page, or the PINGBACK won't work! READERS - VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE BLOGS!
To vote for your favourite blog, all you need to do is: 1) Go to that blog 2) Find the post about this one (if one exists) 3) Submit a comment containing a link to this post, or ANY OTHER post on IANRING.COM. NOMINATE YOUR FAVOURITE BLOG!
To nominate a blog that has not yet entered the competition, leave *any* comment at *any* blog with a link back to this OR ANY OTHER post at ianring.com. Your link will trigger a PINGBACK, which enters that blog into this competition! But beware: off-topic comments on other blogs could be discouraged - and may even be marked as SPAM. In order to nominate another blog into this contest, leave only sensible, topical comments when commenting on other people's blogs. A better idea is to write an e-mail to the blogger, telling them about this contest, so they can write a post dedicated to collecting PINGBACK votes. That way the blog will have a dedicated space for these votes, which may otherwise be annoying and off-topic to their readers if left on unrelated posts. To produce the list of the WORLD'S GREATEST BLOGS I will just count the number of links (votes) and the winner will be the blog with the most readers and comments! This is sad, since it reduces the ease with which you can vote for that blog as the INTERNET's BEST BLOG. Many blog platforms don't let you put links in comments. But many DO allow you to put a link on your NAME when you post the comment. If this is possible, then CAST YOUR VOTE that way. I will post the first round of contest winners on May 1! Good luck!
